Description
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications according to physician or authorized medical practitioner's prescription or written orders. Evaluates drugs prescribed for appropriateness of dose, therapeutic efficacy, allergy, drug interaction, and contraindications and advises patient concerning use of prescription.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Pharmacy. Current and valid state Pharmacist license; and Board Certification, as appropriate. Minimum of two (2) years post graduate experience in Pharmacy; one (1) year clinical experience preferred. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification upon hire.
